Florida Almost-Spring

I write not to torture those of you nearly buried under snow, but to offer hope: 



The bromeliad has bloomed . . .



. . . while Nandina still has its fall berries . . .



. . . fire thorn  and Texas sage think maybe, just maybe . . .





. . . my gardening hat is ready.
