Good Morning, Writers! What does the world outside your window look like? Here’s my view:
As many of you know, I am in Kansas helping my daughter-in-law-to-be. What you don’t know is that she, under the pen name Astrella Knight, is a successful fantasy writer with two books out and two more on the way. Later this week, we’ll be hearing from her in a post about sensory input for writers. Watch for that on Saturday. On Thursday, we’ll be hearing from fiction and nonfiction writer Austin Wiggins. I’m excited about sharing work from these two young writers on Weaver’s Knot.
So now let’s get down to this morning’s task–adding to our own word totals for the week. My goal this morning is to get at least five pages more into Ruth’s advice What a lovely note from your daughter!to the lovelorn in The Man Who Loved Chocolate. How about you? What’s your goals for this morning? Let us know in the comments section below.

/ December 14, 2015Working this afternoon and evening for 500-1K words on Randi. Got about 300 already, slowing down her rush to First Love, getting her into practice mode with boys, all while still in early stages of learning my new computer and software programs.

/ December 15, 2015Just got sidetracked by “Summer of ’42” on AMC–considering it research into adolescence; next is a Bette Davis & Miriam Hopkins flic about women writers–more research, right?
Expect to get back to Randi this evening and/or tomorrow.
