Glenda Bailey-Mershon
I come from the mountains, from a textile mill-working family. My mother and her mother could weave a knot that was barely visible, but which held under great stress. I've tried to apply their skill with threads to words. Here is my wider world view. Thanks be to all the ancestors who brought me here.

/ February 23, 2016Spent a few hours writing 300 words and also entering characters and chapter synopses in my new WriteWay Pro program. It’s really helpful in keeping track of it all, including odd notes and new insights. Randi now has a little brother with a life-threatening birth defect. Her mean-girl friend is revealing her true self, but Randi’s other best friend has come home and is even less mature than Randi was before she bought a bra, styled her hair, and discovered she really cares about boys. Now she’s realizing that some of them like her, too, especially a pair of brothers and an older boy.
Enjoy that well-earned chocolate! I just made me a dirty martini.

/ February 23, 2016Happy to know what program you’re using. I may need it for my third novel. Randi’s life is complicating fast!
